The building progress of our new Tarneit YMCA Early Learning Centre is tracking to schedule and we’re thrilled to be opening our doors in January 2020! We’re one step closer to creating a space for your child to begin their learning journey, nurture their curiosity and help them reach their full potential.

Tarneit YMCA Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built centre. This means your child’s safety, transition from indoor and outdoor play, and inclusivity is at the forefront of the design process. The centre will be a hub for learning and imagination for local Tarneit families.

What makes Tarneit YMCA Early Learning Centre different?

Your child will enjoy a large open play space with an overhanging veranda for protection from the sun. The area will contain an array of native plants and natural materials, along with a tee-pee play tent, sand and mud pits, a water play area and a chicken coop.

The activity rooms for older children have adjoining entries to maximise space and give an open play feel. The rooms include craft sinks and bathrooms with an additional entry to the play space.

Babies and toddlers will also have plenty of room to learn, play and grow. Along with a large play space, there is a separate cot room where your child can get the rest they need throughout the day.

Our new early learning centre allows easy access from the car park and is situated next to a shopping centre and community areas, making it conveniently located and reducing additional travel time for you.

We are currently building all internal walls, doors and windows, and are completing the electrical fit and car park flattening. Plastering will commence this week and concrete is scheduled to be poured.

Stay tuned for more build updates from both of our new centres in Tarneit and Wyndham Vale in the coming weeks.

We think you and your family are going to love our Tarneit YMCA Early Learning Centre. If you would like to find out more and enrol your child, we’d love to speak with you.
