At YMCA Children's Programs, we value quality and qualification when it comes to our early learning staff. We ensure that every educator who works with us holds an array of qualifications, certificates and experience, so your child’s education is in the best hands.

Our purpose and motivation each day is to enrich the early years of your child, ensuring they feel confident, happy and connected. This purpose is supported through employing high-quality and experienced educators in all of our early learning centres.

At the Y, all of our educators have educational qualifications in children’s services, and our Integrated and Sessional Kindergarten programs are delivered by a Bachelor of Education qualified teacher.

All of our staff also have a Working With Children Check and are trained in First Aid, which includes CPR, asthma management and anaphylaxis. As an Australian Childhood Foundation accredited child safe organisation, we also require our staff to regularly undergo Safeguarding Children and Young People training.

As well as these required qualifications, passion, energy and years of experience are highly regarded when we look to grow our YMCA team. Our Early Learning Centres also give each educator ongoing training to up skill and ensure educators are happy, fulfilled and grow in their position.

Not only do experienced and qualified educators have a tremendous impact on the early stages of your child’s development, but centre staff play a vital role in guaranteeing your child's safety, social development and overall happiness during their time spent in care.
